Collections: Personal letters, diaries, manuscripts, unpublished memoirs, foreign documents and war crimes trials records.
Study facilities:

The main (London) Reading Room, located in the Museum's Lambeth Road building, will be closed from 17 April to 21 May 2010.

The Museum’s new Explore History Centre and Research Room will both open to the public on Friday 21 May.

The Explore History Centre, located on C Floor in the Museum's Lambeth Road building, will be open for any member of the public to visit between 10.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Saturday.

The Department of Documents' collections will be available for study in the Research Room, also located on C Floor in the Museum's Lambeth Road building, which will be open by prior appointment between 10.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Appointments are essential, and visitors under 15 years of age need to be accompanied by an adult.

Copy material supplied: Black and white photocopies (small quantities available the same day). Colour photocopies, photocopies of material larger than A3 and special photography can be arranged on request. Limited digital images may be supplied subject to a fee.
